WesEngineering Electric Go-Kart

I lead the electric go-kart as project lead and lead mechanical engineer. The project is split into mechanical (kart assembly, CAD model, aerodynamics), electrical (powertrain testing, energy and power-to-weight calculations), safety (inspection and maintenance protocols, crumple zone and safety features), and club development. I manage the timeline and teach members CFD, DFMA, CAD, and FEA, so the project builds Wesleyan's engineering skills as well as a kart.
