Biomechanical Medical Models
3D printed models made with Middlesex Hospital to train obstetricians and to analyze body parts.

Since January 2024 I've been 3D printing models with Middlesex Hospital's Obstetrics Department: a uterus to train obstetricians to place IUDs, dislocated joints for x-ray practice, and other body parts for analysis.
I edit 3D scans of real patients and use material properties so the print succeeds while keeping the geometry and function biologically accurate. The image above is one of those models in the slicer, with the supports that let it print.
